During our trip to southern Crete, you’ll learn about the local tradition of goat-keeping from a shepherd. He’ll show you how to feed, milk, and catch goats.
Then, you’ll cook Cretan goat cheese with him inside a cave, which is a unique experience. Finally, you’ll get to taste the delicious cheese you made together.

Important information
- The tour begins at 9:30 in the morning (the start time may occasionally vary).
- Hotel pick-up is between 7:30 and 9:00, depending on the hotel’s distance from the excursion’s starting point.
- Return to hotels is between 7:30 and 10:00, depending on the hotel’s distance from the excursion’s ending point.
- What to bring: Cash, clothes that can get dirty, driver’s license, beachwear, comfortable shoes, water, sunscreen, towel, swimwear.
- If you wish to drive a Jeep, you will need a Category “B” driver’s license (Please send us the names and license numbers of the drivers).
- The excursion organizer may assign company members to different vehicles.
- This excursion is not suitable for wheelchair users.
