Full description
In the morning, you will go for a walk around Rethymno. The tour guide will take you through the streets of the old town, showing you Venetian, Turkish, and Greek architecture and landmarks, including the lighthouse and Rimondi Fountain.
You will visit the famous pastry shop of Master Georgos, where he will show you how to make traditional Cretan sweets. Afterwards, you will have enough free time in the old town to take photos or have coffee at one of the cafes on the waterfront.
Next, you will go to the male monastery of Preveli where the Holy Miracle Cross is kept. You will be able to touch the cross, visit the monastery museum, enjoy the sea view, and see the animals in the zoo.
After visiting the monastery, you will go to a traditional tavern for lunch.
Then, you will head to the southern side of the island to Plakias Beach. Here, you can swim in the blue waters of the Libyan Sea and enjoy the view.
Finally, visit the Kourtaliotiko Gorge, where you can see Cretan bearded vultures and wild kri-kri goats. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the cliffs, sheer drops, and small caves.

Important information
- The tour begins at 9:30 in the morning (the start time may sometimes vary).
- Hotel pickup is between 6:00 and 9:30, depending on the distance from the starting point of the excursion.
- Return to hotels is between 18:30 and 21:30, depending on the distance from the ending point of the excursion.

- Infants must sit with their parents on the bus and will not have their own seats.

Ačiū gidei Kamilei!! Keliavome 07mėn. 18d. Ir 21d. į dvi ekskusijas, kurios buvo labai informatyvios ir smagios. Buvo labai įdomu klausytis istorijų ir iš Kamilės gyvenimo Kretos saloje. (Tiek daug tikrai nubūtume sužinoję keliaujant savarankiškai). AČIŪ!!! ❤️
Patariu išbandyti ekskursijas. Lietuvių kalba ekskursijas vedė Kamilė, kuri pasakojo per savo jausmų prizmę – pabrėždama, kas atkreipė jos dėmesį, kas keistoka, kuo graikai skiriasi nuo tautiečių, kokie valgiai jai ypač patiko – tai suteikė jos pasakojimui įdomumo, nes daugumos jos istorijų internete tikrai nepaskaitysi. Ekskursijos su Kamile buvo sumaniai organizuotos – pasirūpindavo, kad sustotumėm kur daugiau pavėsio, kad neužstotumėm praėjimų. Liūdna tik, kad jeigu pirmomis dienomis neužsisakei ekskursijos, tai paskui jau vietų nebelieka.
